Journalist: Good morning Mr Hamilton, nice to meet you!
Hamilton: nice to meet you too!
Journalist : we know you are considered one of the greatest drivers of all time and (together with Michael Schumacher) the most successful champion in the history of Formula 1. How many world titles have you won?
Hamilton: I’ve won 7 world titles: in 2008 with McLaren and in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 with Mercedes. I have the most victories (95), podiums (165) and pole positions (98) in the history of the competition.
Journalist: Let’s also say to our readers that since your debut in the top category, you have won at least one race and one pole position during the world championship, making you the only driver in the history of the highest formula to have succeeded from the first season for fourteen consecutive years . How can you define your driving style?
Hamilton: a very aggressive driving style, for my speed in qualifying and for my solidity in the race as well as for my dexterity in the wet, characteristics that make me a complete and very difficult driver for rivals.
Journalist: what about your parents?
Hamilton: I was born of a mixed couple, with a black father and a white mother; I’m the first mulatto driver in history to have participated in a Formula 1 grand prix.
