Our tour will take you to discover another town, located in the heart of Sicily, Enna.
Did you know that it is nicknamed “the navel of Sicily”?

The province of Enna is the only one that does not have access to the sea. However, it is the one with the largest number of lakes, including Lake Pergusa, the only natural lake on the island.
Perched on a promontory more than 900 meters above sea level, having preserved its typical charm, Enna offers several places of interest:
The Castle of Lombardy, a symbolic building of the city of Enna, is an imposing fortress that stands on the highest point of the city. With its 26,000 m² of surface, it is one of the largest medieval castles in Italy, together with the castle of Brescia and the castle of Lucera. From the top of its main tower, it offers obstacles-free views of Mount Etna. You can see it in the image below.

The Cathedral of Enna
Via Roma, the historic center of the city
The Archaeological Museum
and finally the Lake Pergusa, with a circuit for racing on its shore…

They all worth a visit!
