A ride on “Spaceship Earth”

This Paris Fashion week was one of the most important of the fashion history, not just because finally the shows took place in presence but also for the off-white’s show, thatwas definitely the most touching fashion show of this fashion week. The first OFF-WHITE’s show after the death of its founder Virgil Abloh.

This posthumous show registered more as a celebration, to the man who changed the fashion world.  The show was divided into two parts, the first part in which the prêt-à-porter clothes were presented, and the second in which, for the first time in the history of the brand, the high fashion items were presented.  

For this historical event the casting was fabulous: led by Naomi Campbell, a close friend of Virgil Abloh’s. To this iconic show alongside the iconic supermodel, Amber Valletta and Helena Christensen, the new school supermodels represented by the Hadid sisters, Kendall Jenner, and Adut Akech also took part.

There was also a huge presence of black models, to remember the work of Virgil Abloh in support of the community.

This show was attended by a celebrity like: Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Pharrell Williams Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber. This special audience shows how much Virgil was estimated by the fashion community. The slogan of this show was “Question Everything”, printed on a pair of white flags, this is the last and probably the most important message that this artist handed down to us.
